DNAMP provides mentorship in a variety of fashions: through the information provided during our events; the monthly member's only newsletter articles; the member's only content articles and videos; by reviewing your personal statement and resume when applying to nurse anesthesia school; by providing free mock interview sessions; and, responding to your direct inquiries through email. We do not assign one on one CRNA mentors or set up shadowing opportunities directly although many of our members find and connect with them during our events whether online or in person.
As a Member, you can access the Members Only Content section that has a plethora of valuable information and tips for getting started, like shadowing a CRNA, studying for the CCRN. You will also receive the Diversity CRNA eNewsletter that goes out monthly, usually by the 10th of the month, with poignant stories and information including a list of schools that do not require the GRE. The membership provides event registration discounts and exclusive giveaways at in person events.
