June 2025
DIVERSITY CRNA NEWSLETTER

Dear Diversity CRNA Family,
As we reflect on the momentum we’ve built this spring, I’m filled with deep gratitude and renewed optimism for the road ahead. In June, we proudly hosted our 68th Diversity CRNA Information Session & Airway Simulation Lab Workshop at the Hosanna House in Pittsburgh, PA. It was an energizing and purpose-filled weekend that reminded us why our mission is more vital than ever.
This season also marks a powerful new chapter in our journey. With the appointment of our new Diversity CRNA President, Board of Directors, and a growing group of CRNA volunteers, we are embracing a fresh wave of leadership, innovation, and shared vision. These changemakers bring with them a deep commitment to mentorship, advocacy, and the elevation of diverse voices in nurse anesthesia—values that continue to guide every aspect of our work.
At a time when attacks on equity and democracy persist, our resolve is stronger than ever. Diversity CRNA will remain a steadfast force, adapting, pushing forward, and standing as a beacon for those charting their path toward this profession. Our strength is rooted in purpose and you, our community.
In our next newsletter, we look forward to introducing our newly appointed leaders and highlighting the key committees they’ll be guiding. Their stories, dedication, and strategies will no doubt inspire and energize you, as they have all of us.
And don’t forget registration is now open for our upcoming 2025 Zoom Diversity CRNA Information Sessions! Space is limited, and in-person events are already at capacity, so be sure to secure your spot for the Saturday virtual sessions:
